Asbestos cloth is composed entirely of long asbestos textiles. It has good heat resistance, non-inflammability, and weather resilience.

Because of its excellent non-flammability, the asbestos cloth is frequently used to wrap rubber hoses and cover water-cooled cables to protect them from fire or high-temperature objects.
